ok so lets cut to the point.
i didnt get into falmouth.
this has made me doubt my abilitys even more than ever before.. although i am trying to rationalise by telling myself that i did only have 24 hours to get my portfolio together.. and 5 days instead of ten to do my application project...but all excuses aside..
i cant say i wasnt initially pist off at the fact that my chance to proove myself and that all my hard work for about 2 years was worth it turned out 2 be a total FAIL.
BUT..
after giving it alot of thought..
several things occured to me.
first... wasnt i originally going to stay at truro neway? and didnt i only apply to falmouth later on the afterthought that it myt well b more conveniant.. and it was what everyone else was doing...
second...
tregye.. actually sounds reallly nice. and at the end of the day its the same bloody course, just with people i already know and like.
and third...
courbet,millet,monet,manet e.t.c
all rejects of the salon. and now more important artists in history than most of those who were considered succesful at the time.
then again.
if you're going to look at rejected artists from history.. wasn't hitler rejected from vienna art college before going into politics...?
so what do i conclude from this..
well
either my advanced artistic ideas are too ahead of their time ...
or im going to turn into a pyscopath and seek revenge by burning people and trying to take over the world....
well.
either way.
this logic leads me to conclude that, pyscopathic or otherwise, i am in fact a genius.
